I tend to have major irritation from most brands of deodorants and antiperspirants, so I keep an eye out for brands that are safe for sensitive skin. This is now my only deodorant. I have never had any reaction (and I've been using it for about three years) and I love the scent. The only problem I have ever had has been on particularly hot days or when I perspire more than usual. Since this is not an antiperspirant, it can only do so much under these circumstances. I have pretty sensitive skin. I've been able to use other deodorants and anti-perspirants in the past, but have always had to stop using them after a few months because they would cause a rash. I've been using deodorants from Tom's of Maine for a couple of years and haven't had to switch. The woodspice scent is okay, although I prefer the unscented or honeysuckle rose. Great for Kids, September 11, 2006

Kids wearing deodorant?! I know. But believe it or not, my precious son of 7 was actually having a little bit of *ahem* problem under the arms. Nothing significant, mind you, but enough for him to notice. (He's major skittish about smells.) I didn't want to get him "adult" deodorant and was pleased to see Tom's of Maine deodorant in the store. (I'm a big fan of their mouthwash.) Because it was all natural, I felt comfortable allowing my son to use it for personal hygiene. This natural deodorant smells nice, and goes on clear.
