First, Axe Instinct has a sophisticated yet rugged smell and it's great for grown men. It smells like leather to me. It is the longest lasting deodorant I've tried by Axe or any other brand ( and I've tried many). Many people are unaware that scent specialist Anne Gottlieb (she invented CK One and Obsession) came up with this scent so cast aside any notion of this being for 8th graders or fruity or gimmicky. I use it with the body wash and body spray of the same scent and ALWAYS get positive reactions from women when I use it. The only time I use anything else is if I need a break from the attention. Perfectly balanced,it has a distinctive, instantly detectable, but still subtle smell. It's a scent that doesn't get lost in the crowd yet isn't overpowering. Plus, it lasts a really long time. Not many scents can remain subtle and still be noticeably working 8 hours later, but Instinct does just that. I smelled it on a gentle man it left a great impression, I thought it would be costly or foreign...it was neither. I should have purchased a box. It is great. I even gave one can to my guy (fortysomething years) as a gift, he is crazy about it. The scent is fantastic and the women I know really seem to respond to it. But it fades much too fast and is overpriced. So you can imagine how excited I was to find a cologne spray which mirrors that wonderful scent. Most cologne sprays have a very cheap note to them; you can tell something is missing, wrong or just off about them. That is not the case here. What's more, this cologne spray LASTS. And it is insanely inexpensive. If you don't buy it here, it can also be found in most Targets (that's where I usually obtain it). And it is worth every penny! I first bought this product at the drugstore near my house and it worked so well, I went to buy more, but they would usually be sold out. I checked every once in awhile, because I looked for it everywhere and could not find either the deodorant or this particular scent "Pure" I used to buy out their entire stock when I would run out. That would usually be at least 2, usually 3 sticks at a time. So when they discontinued this item, I went online and found it on Amazon, and bought 4 sticks, cuz that's all I could afford at the time. Believe me, if I could I would buy about 10 sticks! I really hope this product has not gone off the market. There are other scents in this type of deodorant, but only 1 held up as well as this one, but I did not like the scent cuz it was a little stronger and a little overpowering. This scent however is fresh, clean, and not at all overpowering.
